Many people with cat allergies find that they are able to live with Siberians cats, me included! However, there are no guarantees.
Siberians tend to have lower levels of the allergy-causing protein - Fel D 1 in their saliva, although levels of this protein can vary from cat to cat and also changes as the cat grows up. kittens have the lowest levels of Fel D 1, it then increases towards adulthood and drops again once the cat is neutered.
Individuals can also react differently to differenct cat allergens.
The best thing to do is to visit the litter of kittens and see whether you have an allergic reaction.

Yes, allergy sittings can be arranged, generally at weekends. As these can be a bit disruptive, there is a £25 fee for a sitting. We can also send a fur sample for the cost of postage. You can rub the fur on your face and sniff it to see if you have a reaction.

We think it’s important to limit the number of litters a queen will have before she can retire and be a papmered pet!
So, from time to time we will have retired adults looking for very special new homes. If you would like to give an adult cat a loving home please get in touch.
A rehoming fee will apply.
